Dr. Trae Blanco visits KHS

On Monday, March 20, Dr. Trae Blanco from the University of Southern Maine School of Music came to Kennebunk High School to work with the KHS Band.  During this master class, Dr. Blanco worked on musical elements to assist the band in their preparation for the upcoming Maine Band Directors Concert Band Festival to be held at Scarborough High School on Thursday, March 29.

Thanks to a grant from the Ed Foundation, KCS and SRS have received Hot Wheels Speedometry kits for fourth grade. Speedometry teaches students about potential and kinetic energy and allows students to conduct experiments, collect data, and report out to their peers about their findings.

Fast Fingers at Sea Road School

Sea Road had an outstanding performance last night at the Rubik's Cube Competition in Salisbury, MA. Our team time was 3min 20 seconds, with the 2nd place team coming in at over 9 minutes. Our time held up as the fastest of the evening, even against the high school teams. We also swept the individual rounds!
