Supporting All Students

Thank you to the more than 30 recent KHS Alumni who reached out to us to ensure we would continue to accommodate all students regardless of their gender choice. We will, of course, accommodate all of our students in a safe and comfortable learning environment that meets individual needs. As an aside, we are thrilled that more than 30 of our alum are reading and citing our strategic plan! Please continue to stay connected.

Indoor Track Runner Qualifies for New England's

The first year of Kennebunk High School's indoor track team yielded success at the State meet. Runner Louise Holway finished second in the One Mile and third in the Two Mile, qualifying on both for the New England competition. Coach John Fulford hopes this is the first of many successes for the new team. Indoor track runners used to join the Biddeford team to compete until the number of students grew to support a Kennebunk team.

Porcupines at KCS

Maine author Lyn Smith and illustrator Jamie Hogan came to first grade today to share their book, A Porcupine's Promenade. Each first grader will get his or her own copy of the book to take home with their nature journals. The students spent time sketching Maine items with direction from Jamie and Lyn.

100th Day at KCS

K-2 celebrated the 100th day of school today (even though, thanks to some extra snow, it's now Monday after vacation). Second graders had a PJ day and both classes together are going to read 100 books to celebrate!
